Louise de Haas Founder and manager of Jupiter 4 Artists is pedagogue Louise de Haas. She studied social pedagogical sciences at the Hoogveld Institute in Nijmegen and finished this in addition with art education and psychology, advice and coaching at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. From 1996 to 2008 she was freelance correspondent for local and regional newspapers around Castricum. She is also copywriter for business texts. With Jupiter 4 Artists she provides young (especially) foreign musicians and ensembles with help and support in concertmanagement, coaching and advice. Quite often they appear to experience practical problems in finding the right contacts and venues for their first concerts and for participations in other events like festivals. In 2003 she was cofounder of Iskra Foundation in Castricum. See www.iskra.nl Iskra offers a venue to young highly talented professional musicians and ensembles on their way to a professional music career. Iskra annually organizes three concertseries: Jazz & Wereldmuziek Festival in October/November, national Klassieke Muziekweek (concerts throughout the Netherlands) first week of November and the Castricum Klassieke Concerten around March. Since then Louise de Haas scouts several promising young professional music talents in classical, jazz, worldmusic and musictheatre and contracts them for special, surprising Iskra concerts. Many of them during since then entered major concertstages and won many prestigious prizes and competitions. Louise de Haas takes care of the concertprogramming by selecting ensembles and soloists. She selects and writes the texts of the annual Iskra program brochure and the concertbooklets about musicians and concertmusic. She writes press information for all (also digital) media and does radio-interviews on upcoming concerts. Finally she entertains all necessary contacts with national concert and music organisations and visits special events.
